I remember the sugar cravings coming on strong at night for me. I would comfort myself by overloading on cookies, brownies, anything that helped me relax.
I felt crappy after, but for the moment it worked to calm me down.
For me it was my escape from the stress of the day. Sometimes I felt lonely, other times I was relieved to be in my own space and sometimes I was avoiding a task I didn’t want to do.
